If you are checking out Northway Christian Family Church for the first time, we want to let you know there is no expectation for you to give. In fact, we consider our services a gift to you. Financial giving is an opportunity for regular attenders to invest in the mission of our church.

As the church began, generosity was greatly valued. In fact, the apostle Paul encouraged, “On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made” (1 Cor. 16:2). Christians were well-known for their generosity and even shared their possessions so no one went hungry (Acts 2:44-47). Giving was meant to be a joy, giving the Christ-follower an opportunity to help others. The apostle Paul also wrote, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Cor. 9:7). At Northway Christian Family Church, we therefore believe giving is an opportunity to bless others with the gifts God has given to you as you invest in the mission of our church.
